Friedrich List High School

You are standing in front of the city’s largest half-timbered building, the Friedrich List High School. Prior to the Reformation, this was the site of a Barfüßer monastery with around 40 monks, an ascetic Franciscan order. The first written mention of the monastery dates from 1259.
